when I'm not behind the camera.....

You can find me outside! If it's a little chilly I will be wearing my beloved Carhartt vest! If it's rainy or snowy you can find me inside baking! I may also be organizing something in the house or helping my husband with a project.

Jesus: I'm so thankful for the salvation and peace the Lord provides in the midst of a crazy world.

get to know me

Creation: Nothing can beat a sunset/sunrise on the countryside! I'm almost always down for a hike (when not in NE of course!) walk, or campfire. Really anything outside!

Family: From my awesome hubby, to my built in best friends (sisters), to being an aunt to a growing number of nieces and nephews, God has truly blessed me with the best!

Here's a glimpse into a few of my favorite things, besides photography of course, because you already know I LOVE that!

Gardening

Since moving into the country and having the space I've loved gardening! Canning green beans, eating fresh strawberries, digging up potatoes. I just love the excuse to be outside. This year we are adding fruit trees to the mix which is so exciting. Fresh apple sauce, juicy peaches, I can't wait!

farm wife

It's been a dream since I was little to marry a farmer and live in the country. I love the flexibility to go help when needed. During harvest I get to run grain cart and jump in here and there throughout the year with whatever jobs need done. It's such a blessing to get to do what I love!

sunflowers

My FAVORITE flower! I think my inner Kansas girl comes out on this one! Unfortunately my husband doesn't share my enthusiasm for them. However he tolerates me picking sunflowers and filling vases to put on counters all over the house. I just love them, they're so bright and happy!

Can you guess?

Where does photography come in?

I found myself starting to wish there was some way I could freeze special moments and capture the beauty of God's creation. After downloading the fuji film app I took my phone with me on walks taking pictures of EVERYTHING!

2018

2020

The year I took the jump! I bought my first camera, which was a learning curve! I stuck with it and learned the ropes. Wow, I'm so glad I did!

There was a large amount of trial and error in this year. I began shooting real sessions and figuring out things like composition and lighting.

2021

2022

I'm so thankful for the opportunities this year gave me! From second shooting SO MANY weddings to really growing in my skills!

I stepped back from photography while I attended college. During this time I also worked a 9-5 job and realized the corporate world was not my jam.

2023

2024

The year I married my best friend! I also decided to pick up my camera again and make a go of it. Wow had I missed creating!

This was a big year! I was so blessed with many weddings to shoot as well as families and seniors! I truly feel like this year the Lord blessed my efforts.

2025

2026

I can't wait for what this year has in store!!
